The Faculty of Languages of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. organises an international conference entitled Comparing e/migrations: Tradition - (Post) memory - Translingualism on 24-26 April 2019. This is an anniversary conference as it is an important part in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Languages of the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
Most outstanding scholars and researchers in Comparative Studies in the world accepted the invitation to the conference, i.e., Haun Saussy from the University of Chicago, Galin Tihanov from the Queen Mary University of London, Bożena Shallcross from the University of Chicago, Stanley Bill from the University of Cambridge and Olga Solovieva from the University of Chicago. Poland is represented by Dagmara Drewniak from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Roma Sendyka from the Jagiellonian University and Dorota Kołodziejczyk from the University of Wrocław.
