Order No. 116 of the Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń of 29 May 2020 amending order No. 109 of the NCU Rector of 27 May 2020 on preventing the spread of SARS -CoV-2 among community members of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
Pursuant to Art.1.4 of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 21 May 2020 on the temporary limitation of the operation of some entities of higher education and science in connection with preventing, counteracting and combating COVID-19 (Dz.U. of 2020, item 911) and Art.52.3 of Resolution No. 37 of the Senate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń of 16 April 2019 the Statutes of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Biuletyn Prawny UMK of 2019, item 120) taking into account environmental guidelines in connection with the partial reinstatement of the university' s operation it is ordered as follows:
Article 1
Order No. 109 of the NCU Rector of 27 May 2020 on preventing the spread of SARS -CoV-2 among community members of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Biuletyn Prawny UMK of 2020, item 200) shall be amended as follows:
1) art. 9.4 shall be replaced by the following:
„4. Residents who do not participate in classes referred to in Art. 9.1 shall be obliged to check out of the student dormitory by 7 June 2020 subject to Art. 9.4a”;
2) the following art. 9.4a shall be added:
„4a. The obligation referred to in Art. 9.4 shall not apply to:
1) students and PhD students from abroad,
2) students and PhD students with disabilities,
3) students and PhD students for whom the student dormitory is a permanent place of residence.”;
3) art. 9.5 shall be replaced by the following:
„5. If after accommodating residents who participate in classes referred to in Art. 3.1 there are be vacancies, these shall be made available on a daily basis in the first instance to student coming during the session period for exams and credit assessments.”;
4) the following art. 10.3 shall be added:
„3. Residents who have not checked out of the student dormitory by 7 June 2020 shall have to pay full fees for June and subsequent months.”
Article 2
The order becomes effective as of 1 June 2020.
